    Thumbs down Non refund of online deduction of pvr cinema website when no tickets were booked

    I was tryingto to book two tickets(Rs. 150 each) online for the movie CROOK at about 07.30pm for the 23:55 show on 09/10/2010. It actually deducted an amount of Rs. 330 of my HDFC Bank Account in the Name of Bhupender Singh. I was trying to pay online but it did not work out somehow and it took me back to the home page of pvr cinemas website anyways but the bank's messaging system actually messaged me that Rs. 330 has been debited from my account. I also checked with PVR Cinema at centra mall chandigarh UT and the tickets were not issued to me so I had baught the tickkets cash.

    The ticket counter at the Centra Mall gave me some email ID's. pvrsupport@pvrcinemas.com; feedback@pvrcinemas.com


    They told me to email at the ID's and the money will be refunded to my account within 04 days After sending 3 reminders on the same ID's and getting fed up. I decided to bring this matter to this forum.

    NOTE: There are no numbers displayed at the PVR Cinemas websites and there is nowhere you can complaint if you go to the staff at the PVR they rudely ask you to go to the website and send an email.

    I know there are so many customers like me suffering and not complaining because Rs. 330 does not sound a big enough amount to take this matter seriously to the court but these giant companies are just conning people and providing bad services and they present themselves as the best service providers in the industry.

    those who have had same problems I would like to request you to post your complaints here so that we unite here to teach these money conners a lesson.

    I also tried to book 3 tickets today (14.12.2010:9.20am) at the website for the movie "The Social Network", at PVR Skywalk, Chennai for 1:15 pm show. I took the option of Axis Bank Net Banking, and completed my payment transaction. At the end of payment you are told the transaction is not completed and the money will be refunded.

    And as you have mentioned, no phone numbers are ever displayed on the website. Acknowledgement of failed transaction are never sent on the email id and mobile nos collected on the form while booking.

    I hope we are able to spread the message of this online cheating far and wide and also approach the cyber crime branch.

    After I put my complaint here, PVR responded by following mail:

    Dear Mr/Ms. Rai,

    This is to bring to your kind notice that due to some technical issues you got charged for the transaction but your tickets are not booked. So, we hereby assure that the if amount got debited will be credited back to your account within fourteen working days.

    We also request you to use any of the below mentioned methods to book PVR movie tickets in future:

    1) Visit our website to make online booking

    2) If you are on facebook, you can use PVR application on Facebook to book tickets

    3) By calling 505787 from your Airtel, Vodafone or Idea and Reliance user can dail 5050787 for Mobile ticketing

    Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

    i.e I got aresponse, thanks to this forum. But the repayment has been pushed back from 4 days to 14 days.

    SAME PROBLEM

    I also tried to book 3 tickets (on December 25 2010, ~ 10:24 am ) at the website for the movie "Enthiran", at PVR Forum Classic, Koramangla (AUDI 2) for 6.20 pm show.

    I took the option of citi Bank Net Banking, and completed my payment transaction. At the end of payment you are told the transaction is not completed and the money will be refunded.

    And as you have mentioned, Acknowledgment of failed transaction are never sent on the email id and mobile nos collected on the form while booking.

    one trying after some time i could book successfully and when i checked there was deduction of Rs 780 twice. have been sending emails (pvrsupport@pvrcinemas.com, feedback@pvrcinemas.com ) / email --> no response
    ( 080-22067882 / 22067511 / - call customer support --> but in vain no one picks up )

    Can some one help me in this refund one of the transactions (CCAVENUE S|CCA10LAAC208 or CCA10LAAC210 )

    I hope we are able to spread the message of this online cheating far and wide and also approach the cyber crime branch.

    after posting in on this website and parallely sending 4 reminders , i got my refund processed on 8/01/ 2011. thanks to this website

    my only request to PVR cinemas is to kindly provide good customer service. by phone or in person.. from my understanding, customer service is the key to any successful business

    Same problem!

    I was trying to book 2 tickets for a show in PVR cinemas Chennai on 13th Feb 2011.

    I took the option of debit card, and completed my payment transaction. At the end of payment you are told the transaction is not completed and the money will be refunded.

    And as you have mentioned, Acknowledgment of failed transaction are never sent on the email id and mobile nos collected on the form while booking.

    I was successful with net banking but now I find there are repeated charges and I still haven't received a refund

    On 28/04/2011 , I was tried to book tickets for the movie (NENU NAA RAAKSHASI - TELUGU) for 01/05/2011 – 9:45 AM show. It was worked fine from selecting the show & tickets to paying money through ICICI Net banking.
    But finally it didn’t executed and the error I received is something like “Tickets are not booked and money will be refunded”.

    The amount is deducted from my bank account and not yet refunded as of now. Could someone please do the needful

    I tried to book for Haunted 3D(chennai) for May 7th twice, and both the times the Transaction failed with

    I tried booking 2 tickets for the movie KO (7th May show) on 5th May morning (09:00 hrs). The amount got deducted from my bank account but ticket was not booked. It said "transaction cannot be processed and the amount will be refunded" and got terminated. Please let me know when the amount will be refunded back to me? I have tried 4 times and Rs. 1200/= has got deducted. I have sent 2 reminder mails to PVR feedback and PVR support mail ID's.

    Hi,

    Even I had the same problem yesterday when I booked thrice in PVR website through netbanking and lost Rs900.
    They dont have any contact number to contact anyone regarding this issue. When I went through this forum I came to know that only 2 out the people have recieved the refund.
    Can any one help in getting this evergreen issue fixed, so people will continue using the PVR online booking or else this will turn to be a nightmare.

    Today i booked 3 ticked for the movie ko through online for Sunday 15 May 12:00 Noonn Show, when i booked and made the payment i do not received the Transaction id and also my payment was not credited back to my account..Please can you look and do the needful.

    after raising a complaint in this forum and sending 2 reminder mails, 900 rs has got refunded back to me. I am following up with PVR customer support for the remaining 300 rs.

    Default PVR Cinemas - CHENNAI - no Refund of Money

    My Name is Saravanan.R

    On Apr 28 2011 , i was trying to Book ticket using my HDFC debit card in PVRCinemas.com website .An Amount of Rs 300 debibted from my account two times.But this two times due to time out i was nat able to book the ticket.But the amount was sucessfully transferred to PVR Cinemas .I got a Popup message saying the amount will be credited back into my account , but still now i havent recieved the amount.
    Below i have give the Transaction details which i took from my Bank statement
