My name is Ajeesh Chandran. I too got cheated by PVR people.
I tried an e-booking on PVR cinemas at Sky walk Chennai on 5th of May 2011 and the
after entering all my credentials the transaction showed success from bank level
and while returning back to the merchants site it showed that the
transaction got failed and the money debited will be credited back to your
account till now i haven't received the money that is the money haven't
been credited back into my account till now. When i contacted the bank.
People there informed me that "According to the confirmation received from
the relevant department, we request you to contact the merchant at their
email avenue@pvrlimited.comfor the referred concern." I contacted the
merchant and there was no response from their side. I've mailed them frequently for nearly 10 times but there was no response. When i tried calling there was no response as well. When i went there to ask in person people over there vent their anger over me saying that "mail to the concerned department of PVR". I tried everything and finally i'm posting this here. So can anyone suggest any idea in order to get my money back?
Please consider this as important and do the needful.
The Transaction amount is INR 750.00 (twice) so INR 1500.00 have to be credited.
The Transaction Description is
INET/PAY/Avenues India/XXXXXXXXX673 and INET/PAY/Avenues India/XXXXXXXXX769.
