Trusting the brand Whirlpool, I bought a new fridge a month ago. The fridge stopped working in just a month. When I contacted the customer care, I was told to wait for 3 days for the representative to visit our house.

Eventually when the representative did visit us, we were told that there were issues due to Electricity fluctuations and few parts would need replacement. He also charged us INR 1500 for installing a new UPS. The irony is that the fridge states "STABILIZER FREE OPERATION". Wow, and I had the stabilizer installed.

It has just been a month since I have bought the Fridge. I stay in Goregaon W, the heart of Mumbai, so there is no question of frequent power outages (We seldom experience any power outages). But, I was told that my Power supply company is to be blamed and not the faulty fridge from Whirlpool.

I truly repent buying a Whirlpool fridge. I should have gone for other brands which do not boast of better services but provide better machinery.

I am a consumer who has suffered a loss of INR 18000 for putting my trust in a respectable brand name, 'Whirlpool'.

I shall recommend any one planning to buy an appliance from Whirlpool, to please re-think your decision.

In case the company wants to rectify their mistake and replace the faulty fridge please reply to me on this post.

Else you can delete this post stating it as inappropriate. But I have lost trust in the brand and will definitely try other networking mediums to put my point forward.
