I and my brother we have purchased a flat through Shree Tirumala Shanku Chakra Constructions in Narayanguda, Vittalwadi, Hyderabad in the year 2008 march. When we purchased the flat brick work has been done. 95% of the Flat cost has been released and rest 5% is yet to be released to him as promised the builder told that he will hand over the flat in 6 months but till date the builder has not completed the flat and it’s been over 15 months that the builder has not handed the flat to us. The flat’s brick work and plastering has been completed but the other amenities like Flooring, Car Parking, Lift, Drainage, house Electricity, Common Electricity, overhead tank and many more are pending. Because of some or the other reason, builder is delaying in completing the Flat. When we told him that we will raise a complaint the builder threatened us by saying ‘if you raise a complaint in consumer court you will not get the flat’. Is there something the Consumer Court can do to get the flat or to force the Builder to refund the money.
