I had been to Himalayas along with the team of 16 People between 20thAug and 3 Sep 2010. I got my flight ticket booked for Bangalore – Delhi on 20th Aug and return ticket Delhi - Bangalore on 4 Sep 2010. I received email of itinerary from indigo with booking reference O5Y6LG (attached Original_ticket.PDF).

ON the day of journey to Delhi , i.e. 20th August I carried a copy of the ticket and reached Airport by 3:30. To my surprise, I found out that my journey was cancelled for the flight that is being mention in the ticked and my itinerary was moved to next day flight at 6AM . This change was done for no reason, I already had a confirmed ticked and I never contacted IndiGo for any change in timings. I had no clue of this change and after long conversation with the indigo staff I learnt that one of the indigo customer support person had cancelled my ticked and also taken Rs750 as from an unknown credit card. This came as a total surprise to me and put in great agony as I will not be able travel along with my team members. Delay in my journey would impact all the future schedules of my trip. One of the indigo staff also gave me in writing of the entire episode of the happenings of that day. I have attached scanned copy of the letter (Letter_fm_indigo.PDF).

In spite of repeated requests, I was not obliged by Indigo to accommodate me in the fight as per the original ticket information. This forced me to look out for other option as it was really important for me to travel that day as I had linking transport arrangements done from Delhi along with the team. I finally got ticket in Spice Jet (Spicejet_ticket.PDF) and boarded the flight to Delhi . The spicejet ticket costed me Rs. 2083, a huge expenditure forced on me !!!!

I request Indigo to reimburse me the cost of my onward journey to Delhi and help me get off the financial burden dumped on me for no mistake of mine.
