ATM Transaction: Received Rs 12000;Not Received Rs 8000/- But Rs 20,000 Debited . Dear Sir/Madam,
I, D Raghavendra Sunil Kumar(D R Sunil Kumar) having a salaried Account with HDFC Bank and the Debit Card Number is 4386242505850515 & Account No : 08111610018727 have tried to withdrawn an amount of Rs 20,000/- through State Bank Of India,Madhurawada ATM on 31.07.2010 at 11:46 AM
To my surprise, i have received only Rs 12,000/- instead of Rs 20,000/- and the Rs 20,000/- has been
debited from my Account. On the same day i have logged an complaint through phone banking in HDFC Bank .
After weeks time i have received a call saying that the "ATM transaction done through SBI ATM is valid and
you wont get Rs 8000/-
Again i have lodged an written complaint to HDFC Bank and after 12 days the result is same ....
Now, I require following clarifications :
1, If my transaction is a valid transaction, then why the transactions done after my transaction at SBI on 31.07.2010 are not successful(interms of Cash Withdrawl..
(you can check these transactions through SBI Bank Log Sheets on that day which will be provided by SBI ).
2, Any National bank(Particularly SBI ) ATM will defintely give the following combination of notes, for withdrawl an amount of Rs 20,000/-
a, 19 X 1000 Notes + 2 X 500 Notes
b, 39 X 500 Notes + 5 X 100 Notes
c, 10 X 1000 Notes + 20 X 500 Notes
d, 20 X 1000 Notes
e, 40 X 500 Notes, etc...
But i have received only 24 X 500 Notes and i am having the series of Notes with me.
Kindly let me know how to get my money back as i have already lost 2 months from the date i have logged phone banking complaint and let me know can i get any refund for the delay.
