/while trying toread and register for Tata Sky DTH I received a call from Airtel Delhi office ( one Mr. Manoj Shah 9891239941 offering me a DTH connection from Airtel. He gave me mail to know the different Packages. Finally he succeded on me and asked for online payment of Rs.4450/-. I suggested to make the collection from one of their coimbatore agent and one Mr.Muthazhagan has contacted me and reached my home for the payment. I paid the amount and waited till 6.00 PM as assured to me for the installation and activation. No one turned out and a big surprise there is no one from Airtel bothered to know what has happened even though I made call to different places and to their tollfree no's.

Finally on Monday evening installation was carried out and the technician has informed me that keep the STB on till the acivation is done,as it will only take one or two hours max. But till this hour I am doing this the activatio is not being done. I made many calls say about 100 to 150 to different persons of Airtel and every one is getting angry up on the customer. Even the girls startd saying rubbish which is not acceptable.

Why i wanted this connection was. Our are have 2 hours Power shut down and many more unprcidented shut dons. Also the cable TV reception is very poor. Becuase the Common wealth games are own and my daughters and Grandson visiting me , I wanted to give the a surprise as they canatch programe with out any interruption and my GSon can play games at will.

Now I um being questioned by my family members and they mae joke of me. For the last 4 days we are sitting with out any entertainment to watch. Today finally I send all my family memebrs for a picninc as they are getting tottallay bored.


I dont know hy I have made such a blunder mistake to subsribe to Airtel as they are not bothered about the Customer. We ar Retired and no where to go other than sit inour home.

Is there any way to get the money refunded as Airtel can take back the Installed Hardwares.

This will be a greate help and I can get some release from the presure. I have to approach the Cable operator again which I am now doing.
