Airtel has caused terrible inconvenience and financial damages due to pathetic service and activation issues. I had put in a request for conversion of my no. from prepaid to postpaid around 27th september,2010. I was given an assurance that my sim would get activated in 72 hrs beyond which all the plans activated on the prepaid no. will become null and void. So,I deactivated the plans after 3 days as a result of which I am paying much higher calling,sms and internet charges ,the use of which is indispensable in my line of work. After that its been 10 days,but still after numerous calls to prepaid helpline,postpaid helpline, centre visits by me and my father and different feedbacks and reasons, it has still not been converted into postpaid. And still each time i try to find out the reason for not activating it, I am given a different set of reasoning and plan of action. As a result of this, I feel utterly inconvenienced and harrased,not to mention the financial loss I had to avail. Please if there is something that can be done to get the work done and to punish the responsible person,I would highly appreciate it
