Dear Sir,
I am NRI presently staying in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
I paid to take membership of Club Mahindra in August, 2007 through their Advertisement in Times of India. I paid Advance payment to their Sales Guy and advance cheque as well as cancelled cheque as per their requirement.
Basically we were interested in International holidays & they agreed for the same.
According to them we can avail some Bonus holiday & regular holidays after 1 year after the Ist payment.
They said that they will send me Something Membership kit, some Camcoder etc. etc. and asked us Rs. 4,000 for Admin/Courier Charges by cash.
When we came to Saudi Arabia we did not receieved anything from them & informed to them time to time.
Till today we did not receive anything from them.
During Eid holidays in 2007, we tried for the vacation. We called several personnel in their Mulund Office. We spent lot of money for calls but they could not be able to provide holidays.
I went to vacation to India in 2008. They asked to contact to their Vashi Office. We went there to the Customer Service Manager Prachi Jadhav but she could not be able to help us as she don't know about International holidays. We sit their 3-4 hours but she was calling here & there but could not be able to provide us holiday bookings. Then finally she told me that when you will go to Saudi Arabia, you contact to U.A.E.
Then during Eid holidays in 2008 we contacted U.A.E., they said that you contact Mumbai.
So they spoiled our vacaions, as we have only Eid holidays for our holidays. I tried to call them several times, but did not positive response from them.
Then finally I decided to cancel and asked them for the refund.
They first said you cannot cancel. Then we said you did not provide anything form your side nor you can give us International holidays as we called lot of time to their Mulund Office, spent lot of money for telephone and wasted our time.
Then they said that to cancel the memberhsip it will take 3-4 months.
But till now nothing is happened.
Last year in 2009 during our vacation to India, We met their Manager at Vashi, New Mumbai. First of all he don't want to meet us.Then in the next visit he met us. Then he send his assistant, Mr. Jaisingh. He promised me that he will transfer the funds to my account and for that he gave me one letter in white paper.
Yesterday I received letter from them that to pay for renew, he gave me deadline date 2.10.2010
I don't expect such things from Mahindra Club as it belongs to reputed Group. Everytime their officers are changing.
Their officers & staff are hopeless as they don't care.
I received some letters from their different offiials from feedback@clubmahindra.com but when I replied to
them, they further didn't respond. I don't know what is the reason.
Anyhow now Club Mahindra already took lot of money from me, but in return to that they did not give me even one rupee service, altthough I had loss money for phones, for my alternative holidays due to late bookings, my prestigious time and get lot of headache.
I request you to please advice me how can I proceed legally for this case.
