Being as the India Today Book Club member under membership no. ITBC 00084407 I was offered a promotional offer/scheme as usual/normal in routine experienced since a long period but this time for purchasing a book namely "COMPLETE HISTORY OF THE WORLD" WITH AN ASSURED GIFT SCHEME AND ON SPECIAL PRICE TOO.
Being associated with the India Today Group and perticularly with the readers digest promotional offers and india today book club since a long period I accepted and honoured the offer well in time and simultaneously and paid the amount through my credit card to the India today book club well in time iinstantly.
India Today Book Club charged rupees two thousands and ninety nine (Rs.2,199.00) from my credit card transacted on 29-09-2009 through their Merchant City B 315 OKHLA P
After waiting for a long period till now I am unable to receive the ordered product and the assured free gifts too.Besides this a previous balance of Rs.260.00 is pending with them as earlier refered to me by their letter wide no. TOS/POS/ITBC 42459 DT. 23-APR-02.
I approached the concerned through e mails and through postal mails but am always advised to wait for a few days as the concerned department has been approached to chalk out my grievances and in the meantime their web site changed from indiatodaybookclub.com to a new site bagittoday.com.
I had a series of protected e mails with the concerned but always replied in a feeded looking context for waiting a few days for redressing my grievances as being associated for a long time with the concerned book club.
Now more than a year have lapsed but till date neither my ordered product with assured gifts have been sent to me nor my refund is returned back to me.
I have fervent hope that my case may kindly be considered for justice.
