Dear Sir,
We bought a TOSHIBA LCD 32 inches TV from Big Bazaar for which they
promised that I would be getting Airtel HD connection free . We got the
activation voucher from Big Bazaar after a weeks period. The activation
voucher was tampered already which wasn't supposed to be, when enquried
i was told that it is how they used to give to the customers, i was
given a customer id as well.
I just followed the instruction given in the activation voucher and
called and let the customer service know about my activation code and
tried to schedule a delivery.
Customer service denied to schedule for a HD setbox delivery, they
forced me recharge the account with 840 Rs first and call them back.
which is not mentioned any where in the voucher.
Point to be noted: The customer service guys accepted that we should be
given a HD set. The issues are listed below:
* We were promised that we would get a HD setbox from call centre
guys
* We were forced to recharge for delivery. [We did so]
* We called on 4th September 2010 and ordered and Mohammed
promised that that we wud be delivered with HD by 5th Sep by 1PM but we
didnt get service as promised
* Then we called customer service guys and Rafiq (not sure of his
name) again scheduled it for 4PM but again no service
* Again we called customer service guys by 4.30 PM and till 8.30
PM we were on call. None of the guys understood our concern. Whole
Sunday ended up waste for us. [nothing was done as per the commitment]
* Most of the calls were hanged up when we called.
* Arvind,Vivek,Rajesh&Gupta are not fit for this business. They
should be first taught how to talk to customers. They know nothing but
the word "SORRY"
* We were promised for a lot of callback from the above guys where
none of them were honored
* We have spent more than 8 hrs with your guys till of no use.
* None of the commitments listed above are honoured.
* All the calls are recorded and we have it in hand
* Frustated with the your service more than any other, planning to
go for legal action if i don't get a resolution
* Even the nodal officer couldnt solve the issue
