I would like to draw attention for below problems which I have been facing quite long time from HDFC bank or its assocaiates. I am your so called your CLASSIC CUSTOMER and having salary account in HDFC:
1. Home Loan: I had applied for home loan in Nov 2010. As a Classic Customer processing charges should have been waived off. However, I paid the full processing charges and I am receiving loan at normal market rate ie 8.25% only. If you consider me as a classic customer then why I am not considered for processing fees waive off??
While processing the loan also it took more than 15 days which is unusal against any other loan provider. If you need the rail of mails I will happy to forward it to you.
2. Car Loan: Recently I have approached your bank for car loan on 16th Aug to my so called personal banker. In turn I had approached to Mr. Ankush Munshi. Howver, till 4th Sep no response from your side. I will forward the mails as attachement if you require.
Finally, I got call from Kiran for processing the car loan. I had submitted all my documents to your executive on 9th Sep with assurance from Kiran that loan has been logged in on 9th Sep it self. And loan will be disbursed to ford SHOW room by monday ie 13th Sep 2010. On Monday 13 Th Sep I submitted three cheques amounting INR 59172 having cheque no 841802,803 and 804 of HDFC bank. For your info I had applied the loan in my wife's name where i am a coborrower and guarnteer.
Yesterday when I called to Kiran about disbursement she told since I am not employed in Indian hence they have to get special permission. If that is trhe case why it was assured to disbursed on Monday only?? Even I saw in HDFCbank website where my company HEXION SPECIALTY CHEMICALS is a preferred comapny in your website. This means these are contradicting to each other. Even I had not received the loan ac no till this afternoon where I was forced to give complaint against Kiran and Ankush Munshi yesterday evening to tele executives.
I was given loan on 100% of show room with processing fees waive off and loan rate of 10%. Howver, as per classic customer I should have got much better rate.. Even banks like SBI (where I am also having an account)is giving at 9%.
Apart from this
i. I was asked to pay INR 1866 to Shiw room for stamp duty. I don't understand why it is so??
ii. And pay first EMI in cash to show room ie INR 19904 to show room.
iii. IN what way I am getting 100% loan on exshow room??
3. No communication about monthly statement: I never receive monthly statement of my account by post ie hard copy. I had mentioned this several times to the phone banker and personal banker. But have not received any statement from last 2.5 years.
4. Personal banker: Shweta Shetty used to be the personal banker suddenly Siddesh has been changed to personal banker recently. I used to follow up with Shweta since I didn't receive any response I called her mobile she informed she is no longer my personal banker.
Is it not duty of HDFC bank to inform in advance about such changes???
In past to invest in the HDFC pension scheme I used to get 100 calls per day from personal banker and others but when there is changes no body responses.
5. My salary account: I have been receiving salary from my office Hexion Thailand. They don't have any office in India. However, I am based in India looking after South Asia and Thailand. I had sent my appointment letter to HDFC bank asking the question whether it is legal to get salary from foreign company which don't have any presence in india, Shweta Shetty and Siddesh informed over phone it is legal but they were reluctant to put in writing. If you need the appointment letter I can resend it to you.
Pl clarify me.
If you are trating your classic cusotmer in this manner what you would be doing with your normal customer. If all above queries are not replied asap I will be forced to change my salary account to other banks. As other are eager to serve as well.
