This is with reference to my above mentioned policy no. I had taken a loan of 1 lack through Barclays Finance last year in July and from that amount they deducted 15000/- as a premium to Max. I was clearly told at that time it is a one time charge and would not be deducted in future. I had given them my account number for the EMI to be deducted on a monthly basis. AT that time they processed the loan amount and simultaneously deducted the 15000 from the account. After that i did not receive any document from max on any insurance. This year i got a text stating that money would get deducted from my account to which i raised an alarm and went to max new york's office and told them that i never asked for anything. upon that discussion i was told that it is a yearly basis amt of Rs. 15000 that would get deducted. I get a salary of Rs. 22000/-, tell me is it possible to pay Rs15000/-. I was told that the money would not get deducted since i have cancelled the premium, However to my horror on the 1st of Aug when my salary got credited they also took out the amt of Rs15000/-. i have been following up with the mumbai office but all i get is grief.i was not able to pay my loans for that month and have been harassed by collection agencies which has never happened to me in the past. You can check my records, i request you to kindly help me in this matter.
