I bought Tata Photon + in the month of Nov, 2010. Since then i was facing one or other problem like speed problem very frequently and now for the last 2 months i am facing a new problem. The modem is not getting detected in my laptop. I have Windows 7 Operating System in my laptop.



The response from TATA Indicom Customer care is pathetic. There were many high severity SR (198 type SR) raised but all of them are closed just like that.



EC 1261 model has problem on windows 7 where as EC 1260 is working fine. Every time service engineer visits to my placce and promise me that he will replace the device but few mins after he leaves from my place the customer care team calls me and say it is not their modem problem its my laptop problem. They straight away close the SR even after telling them that their EC 1260 model moden is working fine in the same laptop.



Many times i had explicitly told that to replace the modem with EC1260 but The customer care people are asking to scrap the device and they do not have any solution. They will not provide any support after they have sold the product. The customer care attendents the call & just divert the call from one extension to another.



I found in google that many people have a same problem like me.



My Account number is 907931141. Very recently i had reised complaint with docket#261470433, it can be referred for further details on the issue.
