Umesh Modi Group Of Industries, a Rs.11 billion conglomerate with presence in several sectors, Thursday entered the sugar market with the launch of seven products.

The group's Originale sugar brand has seven variants - half spoon low calorie sugar, Demerara coffee sugar, flavoured sugar for tea, flavoured sugar for milk, cubes made from pharma grade sugar, icing sugar and quick dissolve sugar, the company said in a statement.

While the products hit the metros first, they will be available in 12 other cities of the country by September.
