    Hi,
    My name is Kabindra Pradhan, I have a HDFC gold credit card on which an withdrawal of Rs. 6000.00 was done and it shows as the transaction has been made from a local ATM at 04:51 pm.

    However I have not done any transaction whatsoever with the credit card and have not withdrawn any amount of money. Please inform me as soon as possible what to do to know about the details. I will also inform you that I am a regular salary account holder with your bank.

    Dear Kabindra,

    The usage of the credit card is incumbent on the PIN number, which is essential for operating the card. The said PIN is privy only to the customer and except the customer nobody else can access the credit card and withdraw funds without the knowledge of the customer. Further, the said PIN needs to be kept discreetly by the customer without the same being shared with any person or persons as it may result in the card being misused. The misuse of the card in ATMs cannot happen without a possible compromise of PIN number.

    Based on above information provided, the bank will not be able to bear the liability for the disputed transactions. We are however ready to offer our support by providing details of transactions, date, time, locations and all such data that could be useful for any investigation/ natural progression of the case.
