I booked Maruti Ritz ZXi ABS from Popular Showroom on 3rd July 2010 by paying the advance amount of Rs 10,000. They promised me that they are going to deliver the vehicle with in one month from the date of booking. One day the sales person has called and said that the vehicle is in transport and if i pay the full amount and raise the invoice before 31st july 2010 to avail Rs 3000 extra off on the original deal. I have paid the complete amount by taking some amount as loan from HDFC on 28th July 2010. HDFC has disbursed the amount on 29th July 2010, but they did not raise the invoice after collecting all the money. Since then they stopped updating me the status of the vehicle. I have been roaming around them for getting an update. I told them I have decided to cancel the order as I am not getting proper response. on 18th August the sales person and his team lead have come to my office to update me the status saying the vehicle is in transport and can reach here by 20th August 2010. on 24th August they called me and said that the vehicle has reached and they are going to check the engine number and Chasis number before confirming the same. I did not get any update afterwards. I called them in the evening to find out the status of the same, they said the vehicle has come but the vehicle was damaged in the transport. I request you to help me to get my money (self amount + loan) with the penalty.
