Please be informed that as per HSBC's statement the said card had no dues in November 2009 prior to which I have destroyed the card and also informed HSBC about the same. Consequently no transactions have happened on the said card. I had also cancelled the AIG policy which was aligned to the said card.
Now I have still not been able to understand as to on what HSBC claiming an outstanding as post destruction of the said card I have not used the same for any transaction and all transactions prior to November had already been paid for in full.
It is also noticeable that as per their own statements HSBC has had a a long and chequered history of charging late fees and various other undue charges and then refunding or waiving off the same after realising their folly or after the same has been raised before any suitable forum.
Request a suitable and approprite end to the said issue where HSBC Collection people have now threatened to take up issue with CIBIL
