BSNL broadband services in Himachal Pradesh Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) plans to launch next month broadband services in Himachal Pradesh that will make Internet access easier, a BSNL official said Wednesday.
Rajinder Singh, chief general manager of BSNL's Himachal unit, said the service would be first offered in Shimla, Solan, Parwanoo, Baddi, Dharamsala, Mcleod Gunj, Kullu and Manali.
"With this advanced service, several broadband facilities, including hi-speed Internet, will be available to customers without their telephones being engaged for long periods," he said.
BSNL is launching its broadband service in six major cities from Saturday at Rs.500 per month.
