hi this is major sudhir serving with the indian army. i am posted in delhi and on an official duty to hyderabad.on 6th of feb i saw a advertisement in times of india by india times shopping about hyderabad pearls set.the advertisement stated that the delivery will be made before 14 feb that is valentine day.i called the given number and booked my item by my credit card with booking number 201002061335553.i did not tell my wife in agra that i have booked this item as i wanted it to be a surprise to her.to my dismay it was not delivered on the 14.so i called the customer care on the 15 feb to enquire after waiting for10 min for someone to answer my call i dialled the option given by the IVR for someone to call me in next 24 hrs.nobody called me till 16 then again i called them on the 16 feb and was able to speak to their customer care rep with whom i lodged my complaint and asked him to tell someone responsible to call me so i could ask him the reasons of non delivery.nobody bothered to call so again i called them on the 17 feb and agin i was told that my item could not be delivered as the address given by me was not in the coverage area of the courier company whereas my address is bang in the city limits.Now the thing is i could not give anything to my wife and secondly the company is behaving so irresponsibily by not even not bothering to call and inform me that there is some problem with the delivery.i want u to suggest me what to do or file a complaint with the consumer court,for the refund of my money for the item with interest and other expense i had done along with the mockery they made of my emotions please suggest me. any other details do let me know thanks
