I had sent one important document to my wife thru professional courier vide their docket no.720769583 dated 09.12.2009 from
Chennai chrompet to Ulhasnagar Dist.Thane Maharashtra 421004.

Till date it has not reached and the courier has told that they are not able to trace. I had given written complant to them on 15.12.2009 and 22.12.2009 and also took the matter thru several calls from my mobile. I had also asked for compensation for the same but they are arguing that they require the photocopy of the document which I had sent. The same is not with me as for that particular consignment, I did not take a copy as I thought the professional courier will definitely deliver the same without fail.

Now after several discussions with their branch managers Mr.Azharuddin Mob.No.9884215014 and Mr.Abdul Rehman 9884215059, I am ready for negotiations on this matter and require compension. But they still insist on the copy and they have put in e-mail that they can compensate only Rs.500/-.

Since I have spent on the documents nearly more than Rs.10,000/- and also call charges, mental tension, I was ready to take Rs.10,000/ as my compensation and further I reduced the same to Rs.5,000/-.

Kindly guide me with the procedures to get my compensation. This is gross negligence by the courier company
