I bought a Zen Estilo Vxi car with OEM fitted JK tyre, - vehicle and tyre made in Aug 2007.
Till date (Nov 2009) the vehicle has done 26,000 kms.
The tyre wear is normal and the car and tyre are under warranty.
The tyres are of very poor build quality as the tyres are bulged, giving a bumpy ride.

Tyre repair shops tell the tyre is of poor quality and has manufacturing defect.
JKi customer service is non existant and is very surprising the tyre to develop such defects within 2 yrs /26k km.
Two tyres are in bad shape and the rest three are slightly better.

How such poor quality tyres are fitted?
is Maruti responsible for such tyre selection or JK responsible for such poor quality?
Ultimately we the car buyers are left in the lurch, high and dry.

I have purchased swift diesel in Sept 09, from Barbate Automotive, Nagpur. He is authorised dealer of Maruti Products.
My vehicle has run 10000 kms. I have noticed before twenty days that one tyre has taken bad shape. We may call it Air bubble. I have send the vehicle to Maruti dealer, he had then diverted to Ajmera Tyres Nagpur, for warranty & replacement. As per ajmera tyres JK Tyres authorised engineer will check the tyre & replacement will be done. But now ajmera tyres is telling me that JK tyres engineer rejected the claim. & asking me to purchase new tyre?

Can you justiify me
Why Maruti has diverted me to Ajmera tyres agent of JK tyres?
Why Maruti dealer has not given me replacment there & then only?
Now Ajmera tyres is telling that claim is rejected?

Here i want to bring it to your notice at the time of purchase of vehicle ,i have requested maruti dealer ,please give me tyres of Good Year or MRF I don’t want JK tyres as i was aware about the quality. But he has accepted the request.

Now tell me what is to be done?
Can i start reverse advertising of JK Tyres the hopeless Tyre Maker in India.

I have got JK Tyre as OE with Wagon R. But its the worst Tyre that could be possible made. I have had punctures at least 2 times a month. Right in the first month the tyres got busted sidewalls and cuts and creeks. now I have done 3 years and the rear left tyre burst.

I am replacing my tyres with MRF.

Its a bad name for a company like Maruti to use JK as the OE. Never buy a JK tyre for replacement.

it is to be submitted that i purchased my maruti car 800 regd jk02u 5113 in the year 2003 with jk tyres fitted in it.i had drove the car to 71000 kms by the same co. Fitted tyres. Still going on. I have a complaint about jk tyres.i have 3 cars in my house and in all 3 cars we use jk tyres.but recently we notice that in my 2 cars the tyre has blast.one is blast on 12/04/2011 and another is blast on 14/04/2011 and i was not using the tyre so much it was not to old.so i am not satisfy with j k tyre and want to file a complaint.
So please give response to this mail as soon as possible.

While driving the my Zen Estilo, tyre got burst and got saved due to got grace. Vehicle was running at a speed of 110 KM/H when suddenly this happened. We all were saved but the vehicle got damaged and now need the compensation for the vehicle repair

I recieved all 5 tyres of JK make along with my Wagon R as an OE Fitment. within 2 years the tyres had a balging defect. It would caused a major accident
if had i not noticed the defect. The tyres were shown to the engineer who is attached to Goa C&F. He sanctioned the claim to 45 % and the balance 55 % of the cost was shelved from my pocket. The tyres were again bought from your authorised Dealer i.e. M/s Parijat Tyres. Within a span of just 1 1/2 years I have again noticed the same defect the engineer registered the defect as Belt Seperation. He has given a accpetance of 50 % of the claim as usual.

My claim is forget about the cost and claim, I am now feared to drive my car with J K Tyres as the defect is consistent and the company does not take measures to rectify. Why should the customer be harrassed for getting the claim settled at a cost which is a pure negligence on quality by the company. More so it might have lead to serious
accident as I have to drive app. 50 kms per day.

I now wish to requst the company to replace all the tyres with no extra cost to be levied to my account and an assurance that such defects will not occur in future.

We are having your company tyres since from 2007 .Our car has ran 16000 km only but all the 4 tyres are now not in running position.
