I have bought a HTC wildfire mobile from Letsbuy.com on 30th Sept 2011, with a warranty of 1 year as usual. But on 12th July,2012 i was using some applications from around half an hour and its touch suddenly stopped working, but my phone was in working condition. I went to Satyam communication centre, sec 18, Noida, Local service centre of HTC and they checked the phone completely and asked me to send the phone to HTC Service centre, Delhi. I said okay. But today on 26th July, I recieved a call from Satyam Communication and they informed me the estimated bill of My phone is Rs 5308. I said my phone is in warranty then she replied that the engineer of service centre have found liquid in my phone and its mother board is Dead thats why i have to pay that money. I told her not to repair my phone and return it in the same condition it was in. But she said the phone is opened for repair, so their no guarantee to return it in the same condition.
Now, I have some doubts as If my phone was having moisture then the Local engineer at Satyam communication must had observed that, so he should have told me before sending it to HTC service centre,Delhi.
And i am sure their must not be liquid in my phone?
And will they return my phone in the condition it was before?
And if phone's mother board is dead, then it shouldnt get swithced on?
Please guide me,what should i do?
