Same problem as this "WAP breaking news subscription service" got enabled in my prepaid airtel mobile and I am unable to stop this. Tried SMS "STOP" to 121 and it says I do not have any value added service activated in my phone. But, I get an SMS everyday saying that they have deducted Rs.1.5 for this service.

2. I have been renewed it everyday and losing Rs. 1.5 everyday
3. I have been trying to stop the service, but there is no proper channel available
4. Calling 121 and 198 (airtel help numbers) gives the status "cannot retrieve at the moment"
5. Calling the nodal officer no use - because - number forwards to the above numbers.
6. Bottomline - unable to stop the useless service and unnecessarily being charged.[/QUOTE]
