    Default Cheated by BAG IT TODAY -BOOK MY HOLIDAY-Big Frauds



    As per below mail I had brought a Rs 5998/- voucher from Bag-IT Today Voucher.At the time of purchasing the voucher i spoke to one of the executive shivani as per below mail ,and she assure me that i will get confirmed booking in my choice of hotels which i have provided to them and even i will get my money refunded if i will not get confirmed booking and can split your vacation in two parts of 2 Nights & 3 Days.

    Even after calling them again sending scan copy of vouchers,no one responded with appropriate answer.
    I have sent more than 15 mails and called more than 50 times.But no one is responding properly.
    At last the customer executive told me that there is no availability in desired destination in desired location.

    If this is the case then BAGIT TODAY should return my money (5998 +550) back within next 2-3 working days as dont want be cheated anymore .As got really frustrated with the response and behaviour of customer care executive and Book My holiday Team.

    Default Case of Mis-selling

    Dear Consumer Court Team,

    I received a call from book my holidays (bag it today) by a phone call from a person named Sagar from india today group (bag it today) & they explained me about their membership & benefits. I had to pay Rs. 7000 by internet transaction and Rs 750 through demand draft. I would be getting one IPod and availing 8 days 7 nights of hotel stay for 4 adults in a list of hotels provided by them for tenure of 1 year. Since they were associated with India today I thought they might be genuine. I was happy with the scheme & registered myself. Booking ID - 1009273688
    later the sales representative – Sagar called and gave me a new offer.

    I haven’t received any I Pod, I called so many times on customer services: + 91 120- 6182100, but every time we get a different answer & till date we don’t have any answer on our request.

    Finally on May 10th I was able to connect to bag it today team at 0120-4112424. After that I called up bag it today helpline and told them the story. The customer service facility at +91-120-6182100 is pathetic; it has been a torturous experience. Now they are giving me some other email ids and told me to mail them and register my complaint.

    Even after calling them again sending scan copy of vouchers, no one responded with appropriate answer. I have sent lots of mails and called more than 50 times.But no one is responding properly. At last the customer executive told me that there is no availability in desired destination in desired location.

    If this is the case then BAGIT TODAY should return my money (5998 +550) back within next 2-3 working days as dont want be cheated anymore .As got really frustrated with the response and behaviour of customer care executive and Book My holiday Team.

    I cannot bear the mental harassment anymore. I would request you to please take strict action against them & see to it that they do not make other innocent citizens of India fall prey to their devious methods of cheating people with false information.

    I look forward for to your support in solving this issue.

    Default Froud by Book my holiday

    I had been contacted by affordablesalespromotions.Com on 26.09.12. They offered a holiday package of bagittoday of india today group. The following are the swindles that the company has done with me :-

    (1) the calling sales person Mr Vishal interacted with me and offered Holiday package . On this offer only I booked the holiday package at rs 5998=00 for 4n/5d for 4 adults at their listed resorts and hotels across india which are 3-5 star ranked. Later on I received the booking voucher form but they DID not send the free gift. I called them but they backed out saying that no such offer was given.

    (2) I filled up the voucher seeking booking confirmation for Darjeeling and Gangtok for 14 to 16 Dec in listed hotels/Resorts and sent it through email on 08 Oct with rs 450 processing fee. I received no phone/Email from the company. When I called to sales person no one picked up the phone when i called customer care they keep on asking me to wait for few days as it is under process. Now they say that they cannot provide as the tie ups with resorts/Hotels in these places are terminated. I have also asked them for alternate places they refused to do so.

    In this situation when I have already done with the train reservations and my holiday plans have been fixed the company is totally backing out from the services they had committed me at the time of selling the product. Even now they are not in a condition to give me any reply straight forward. Every person gives a different answer on every call. I also requested to cancel my package if they could not stand by with their promises; they straight away denied the cancellation.

    You are kindly requested to look into the matter and suggest me how can I get back my money of rs 5998 + 450

    I can provide you with all email conversations with the company and booking vouchers. It may also asked for voice recording which will clear all promises that company has made during selling the package.

    Angry fraud by BAG IT TODAY , HOLIDAY PACKAGE

    3. no any black out period
    4. they give gift a watch for special time of booking

    5. no any gift provided to you
    6. you give booing before 30 days



    If this is the case then BAGIT TODAY should return my money (5998 +450) back within next 2-3 working days as dont want be cheated anymore .As got really frustrated with the response and behaviour of customer care executive and Book My holiday Team.

    As got really frustrated with the response and behaviour of customer care executive and Book My holiday Team.

    But what we are getting in just putting our compalaint on this forum.

    Does that affect that fraud company,

    We would like to inform you that as per the TnC of the package you have to send the booking related documents within 90 days from the order date and you can change the date and destination prior 21 days from date of your tour. It is mendatory to sent the booking related documents witin time frame expalined above.where your order date was 05/12/11 and your 90 days period was completed on 05/03/2012 where you have send your booking form on 18/09/2012.

    Further we would like to inform you that all the t&c are mentioned on holiday voucher as well as an automated e-mail was also dropped on your e-mail ID citing all the t&c. Apart from this all the t&c was explained to you on the varification call. hence we are unable to process your booking request.

    2. THE MANAGING DIRECTOR, BAGITTODAY.COM,201, COMPETENT HOUSE,F-14, MIDDLE CIRCLE, CONNAUGHT PLACE, NEW DELHI – 110001 … ….OPPOSITE PARTY


    Complaint Under Section 12 Of The Consumer Protection Act, 1986

    RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:
    1. That the Complainant is a resident of , D/ 314,MARUTHI RACHANA,CHS,NEW PANVEL,SECTOR -7,NEW PANVEL -410206 ,MAHARASHTRA.
    The complainant had bought/ hired services from opposite parties.
    2. The opposite party No. 1 is the main service provider of the said services.
    That the facts of the present case, in brief, are as follows.
    3. That the complainant had received a call on 25th July, 2012, from the opposite party’s company executive, one Ms. Ritika(#8505996088) informing the complainant about a holiday voucher on buying which the complainant was promised 2 free gifts – a Dell laptop and a LED TV. In good faith and going by the opposite party company’s good reputation in market the complainant purchased that holiday voucher by paying Rs.12,000. The copy of the receipt is attached as ANNEXURE I.
    4. However, later on [26th July 2012] the complainant received a verification call from the opposite party’s executive who verified the details about the order but when the complainant asked about his free gifts, he disconnected the call. So, the verification call was not completed. The complainant has a recording of this conversation as a proof. Strangely, the complainant was also told by Ms.Ritika that a verification call from the opposite party would not mention anything about free gifts. However, after the purchase of the voucher online, the complainant came to know that no such offer of free gifts was available from the opposite party’s side. The complainant has submitted the voucher with booking details to the opposite party on [insert date]. Since then the complainant has been coordinating with the opposite party via innumerable phone calls and Emails both for free gifts and the voucher booking but to no avail. A copy of the Email communications the complainant had with the opposite party company on this regard is attached as ANNEXURE II.
    5. It is unfortunate that the complainant was made to suffer a loss of Rs 12,000 for the false promises made by the opposite party executives who lured the complainant into buying this holiday voucher. The complainant had registered complaints with the opposite party’s company (#854511 and #854518) expecting a solution regarding his issue. However, the issue has been unnecessarily dragged by the opposite party’s staff till date.
    6. The complainant is extremely agonized with this unethical practices followed by opposite parties, which shows disrespect towards their customers and therefore the complainant feels deceived and is frustrated by such conduct of opposite parties, and craves before this forum for justice.
    7. That the Opposite parties has inflicted enormous amount of mental agony and financial loss on the Complainant.
    8. That the opposite parties being associated with each other are jointly and severally liable for the claims of the complainant.
    9. That this Hon’ble Forum has got pecuniary jurisdiction to entertain this Complaint as the compensation claimed does not exceed Rs.20,00,000/-.
    10. That this Hon’ble Forum has got the jurisdiction to adjudicate and decide the same as the opposite parties carry their business through Internet and since the purchase was made from Raigad so the matter falls within the territorial jurisdiction of this forum.
    11. That, the cause of action is continuing till date as the Opposite Parties have not taken any action on the Complainant’s grievance. Therefore, the complaint is within the limitation period.
    12. That the Complainant has not filed any such or similar complaint against the opposite parties herein, with respect to the same cause of action, in any other court of law. No such or similar complaint is pending adjudication before any competent court of law.
    In view of above stated facts and circumstances it is respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to:-
    i) direct the opposite parties to apologize for all the inconvenience caused to the Complainant;
    ii) direct the opposite parties to make up for the mistake by refunding the paid amount of Rs.12,000/- back to the complainant ;
    iii) direct the opposite parties to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- towards the mental agony suffered by the Complainant; and
    iv) direct the opposite parties to pay a sum of Rs. 1,000/- towards cost of this petition;
    v) any such orders and reliefs deemed fit and proper by this Hon’ble Forum in view of the facts and circumstances of this case.
    For which act of kindness, the Complainant shall, as is duty bound, ever pray.
