I am myself employed with a Power sector company in M.P. but it was shocking to see TATA DoCoMo way of handling its customer.

i was one of the customer of Madhya Pradesh to use TATA Photon+ Services bearing Tata DOCOMO No 9200045993.. it was reported by their executive name Mr Saket Chouhan from Jabalpur at the time issuing form for new connection that the post paid plan of Rs 150/- per month will be provided to you and thus collect the requisite information along with all the necessary documents required for new connection. But my first bill comes with the plan of Rs 250/- per month for which I was not agreed and refuse to pay the bill until it was modified for the plan of Rs150/- the executive promise to get it corrected from the next bill and request to pay the current bill which I pay accordingly. But next bill of Rs around 1400/- were raised by them without making any correction in the plan. I refuse again to pay and shows dissatisfaction about their services and to stop my connection till the matter settled.

Suddenly one fine day my connection was disconnected and after regular follow ups it was not restored. At that time my due was roughly around Rs1400. I received no calls or intimation from TATA an suddenly one day they call me and instruct me to pay around Rs. 1724, for which i demanded explanation and I was ready to pay the Rs1400 what i have used and refused to pay the remaining amount which i have not availed. I also got calls from the collection team and the behavior was not up to the mark. I tried to explain him the situation which he was never willing to listen and after I told him that I will handle the case in a legal way, he started arguing and I ignored him because of his behavior.

On 6th July 2012, I suddenly receive a call from Delhi HC saying that a case has been enrolled in my name and warrant will be issued by 12PM. I was shocked and was trembled for few minutes, after that i called the same person and asked him about details of the case and he told me that the case is for Fraud against me and after a lot of persuasion he gave me the number of the lawyer with the case number. I called up the lawyer and again after a lot of persuasion, I was told that there is a case against me and they have sent me summons (which I have never received). After a lot of discussion and persuasion and telling him the entire situation, the lawyer agreed and helped me by saying that he cannot do anything but he can suggest me to pay the entire amount so that the case doesn’t move forward and can be stopped then and there. i pay Rs 1724 in account no. 939481263 by receipt no.44598121 dated 06/07/2012.

As there was no other hope I paid amount of Rs. 1724 against TATA DOCOMO Number 9200045993. on 06-July-12 and the transaction receipt number is receipt no.44598121.

Please help and suggest if this is the way to deal with a customer and dragging a customer of MP to Delhi for a simple telephone bill, which is also not properly justified. I feel harassed and cheated by company of such high repute. I demand that my extra Rs1400 which was charged to be reversed and Rs10, 000 for dignity loss as I have never faced court or lawyer in my entire life.
