When ever i tried to take color print, back ground of the page get fully covered in magenta color.I logged complain to hp costumer care with complain ID as 4626967408 on 8th mar 2011.Initially this complain was lodged with Hp in October 2010. one engineer Mr jitender kumar(contact no.952983863) came from local support(INTARVO) company to look into the problem on 30.10.2010.He diagnosed the machine but could not traced out the real problem of why back ground of any color printed page is filled with magenta color.During diagnostics the problem when he started diagnostics all cartridge was full .magenta was about 95% available but after his diagnostics when he printed out some color print it left only 92 or 93 % of magenta. lastly he said ok i will visit again tomorrow .He took some sample and went away.

Next day he again come and started R&D on the Printer. He open the printer and took out some PCB from the printer ,did something and then reconnect that and tested. took one - two color pages then he said some sensor PCB is faulty. He ordered for that. After more than week that part of printer came.and one another engineer visited to replace that part but he was so inexperienced that he could not even open the cabinet of the printer.he started R&D.by stoking here and there on the body of the printer.(I specially mentioning this to let you know the standard ,experience and sincerity of local support on which such a reputed company like Hp is relying)i finally stopped him from doing R&d and requested local support to send some another engineer who is having some knowledge about this printer.mean while after the visit of Mr Jitender i noticed that magenta cartridge is showing empty status .It shows 0% magenta available because after taking one- two color pages all the magenta color powder came out in the wastage bin of the printer. After about one week same Mr Jitender came. I told him all the situation and ask why the magenta shows empty status. He then said there might be some problem in cartridge. He replaced the part but could not test as cartridge was not available .He than suggested to get cartridge be checked from the HP service center and he will visit again to test if printer is OK or not .I did the same .service center for the cartridge send some rep to visit this printer who collected some data and lastly return the cartridge with remark that cartridge is ok and there is no technical fault in the printer.I personally talked to him why it is showing empty then they reply there is no powder left in cartridge it might be due to miss handling or fault of printer. I informed this to Mr jitender and also his company to came and see the issue. but he did not come.I also talked to HP costumer care (toll free) and informed about the situation. There i came to know that this case has been closed by MR Jitender that to without the consent of the customer very cleverly because he might have noticed his fault of wasting my new cartridge. My problem is not fully resolved yet and the printer is out of service for more than11 months now .Even printing issue could not be rectified as i tested it by getting magenta cartridge from our another location on loan for the test my self where the same printer is installed.(you might be not aware that we have more than 200 nos of the same printer installed last year only apart from other costly HP equipment like plotter 4000ps). I found that the same problem is present . Even after replacing the part (as suggested by Mr Jitender, the Engineer )could not resolved the problem.I informed this also to local support Mr MEHRAM (Contact 02915105801) that the problem is remain as it was then he replied he can't help now and i have to lodge a fresh case regarding this .
Till now my printer was under warranty.the problem was not resolved . mean while this printer got out of warranty .when next time i contacted Mr Mehram he said our printer is now out of warranty so can not solve the problem free of cost it will be on payment basis. i was shocked because when i lodged the problem it was very well under warranty now my coer problem is remain unsolved and one more issue has been created by the engineer of local hp support i.e. INTARVO.(wastage of whole new cartridge which is very costly about Rs. 14,500/-)
So now my point is that Local support should be instructed to check the printer again and replace the costly magenta cartridge wasted by the engineer only due to his negligence and inexperience. Now when i contacted again , Mr meharam is not responding positively and unwilling to resolve the problem created by his engineer (i.e wastage of new cartridge) and resolving the previous issue of PQ.As this is govt organisation doing business with you since long i expect my problem will be sort out at the earliest. i'm requesting you for fruit full solution of the whole problem as i'm personally taking pain in contacting and chatting with all the concern time and again since last October.please do somethi ng and let me know.
thanking you.

Regards

Insp vinay kumar
BORDER SECURITY FORCE
FTR HQ JODHPUR
