i have started a travel company in Derabassi Punjab and was looking for a printer on internet,because chandigarh city is far from Derabassi. There i found a website named Cartriage Express located in Sec-20D, i called on that number and talked to the owner Sardar Ji.He said he will give me the best one with free delivery in my office. i explained him,that the problem i was facing with my old printers of HP was that their ink gets dry if not used for few days,this man said that this new printer that he is providing me EPSON T-19 overcomes this problem as we give extra cylinders worth 1600 with the printer and its refilling is also cheaper. I trusted this man and ordered one piece,he along with his helper came with printer and took 3100 in cash from me. After few printouts the cartriage got empty,so i called this man again and he sent his helper to my office ,the guy changed the company cartriage with the one provided to me along with the printer and said the printer needs head cleaning. To my surprise the whole bottle of Inks got empty while cleaning the head and still the print was not proper. Then he used the one with him to clean futher but again it sucked that too and still the print quality was poor. I talked to the sardar ji (owner) about all this and he said yes it will suck the ink this way only if the printer is not used for a day or two. Then my question to him was,then why he sold me this printer if it also has the same problem like HP. In Hp with company cartriage at least i can take 100 printouts which was not in this case. And above all this i have paid you double price of an Hp printer just because you said ink will not dry.After 3-4 days i went to his shop in chandigarh, he said he will sent the printer to service centre and once it will get ready i need to collect it from him. But replied nothing on any of my questions about the comittments made at the time of selling the printer. i requested him to replace this printer with simple HP printer and refund me the balance amount but he said no to it. Then when i asked for Bill of this printer he changed his mind and said he will replace this but with Samsung printer and i need to pay Rs 2500 more. But why should i and i dont need samsung printer. finally i agreed to replace it with laser printer worth 5400 but the condition was the printer should be of Canon not Samsung and he said ok ,he will send it to my office the next day( 23-April-2011).On 23-April,Till afternoon i was waiting for the printer but it didn't came then i called him and he refused to provide me the canon printer. he said if i need canon then i need to pay 600 rs more. it was rediculous. he has cheated me by making fake comittments about the product and his services as well. Plz tell me what to do. i feel help less. I was searching for consumer court contact number so that i can file some case against this old man.He is a big cheater and sells products on fake comitments,i got this comments from the area around his office as well. people said that i have fallen in the wrong hands.Please suggest if i can take any legal action against this man and if yes how? will i get any justice?
