To whom so ever it may concern,

We have purchased Intermac PF8t203dpi bar code printer from Symbol Systems India
Pvt.Ltd. Following series of event has been occurred so far.
1. Sales Representative from Symbol System visited our office and noted down our
requirements. He inspected the PC we are having at office.

2. He suggested one model which we have decided to Purchase.

3. Symbol System has developed corresponding software as our requirement. Along
with printer they gave us Parallel Port cable ( LPT1)for connection.

4. Our office laptop never had LPT1 connection. We brought it to their notice. But
by the time person who came to our office to know our requirements has quit the job.
So nobody from Symbol System was aware about the past communication. So they advice
us to connect it to our old PC.

5. We wanted Bar code labels very urgently , so without any argument we decided to
use our old PC with LPT1.

6. But unfortunately within 15 days only our old system crashed and we were left
with no choice than buying new PC.

7. But as per Technology changes , no branded manufactures give LPT1 with their new
machines. Instead of that USB options are provided. They advice us to buy USB cable
to connect printer.

8. We brought USB cable and tried to connect Printer . But even after connecting
printer , after running software it started giving us error message.

8. So we contacted Symbol system for assistance. They simply refuse any help saying
we can not do anything without installing LPT!.

9. To get rid of this problem , we have installed LPT1 in our new system. But even
then software was giving same error message.

8. We again contacted Symbol systems for assistance , and told them to give us
proper system to connect to our laptop at least.

9. They again suggested us to buy LPT1 to USB cable. We have done that . But even
after doing so error continued.
This time after approaching them , they raised their hands saying that Software
developed for you is not suitable for USB. and if now you want to continue with
printer ,you have to purchase new software.

10. Cost of the printer earlier with software was 25000/- . Now if we want to
develop new software which will be USB compatible , then we have pay around another
20000/-

11. So here the main mistake is done by the representative of Symbol systems who
sold us outdated technology. Now since that person has left the company , company is
refusing to take any responsibility.

So please go through ,and advice us the legal ways to work it out.
