On 24th of May 2009 i visited Gurmeet wines and asked for Royal Stag(Half Litre) bottle and Red Wine. 2 issues. 1. The wine was some local brand(Prince) which had a print of 131/- INR and he quoted the price as 150/-INR. When asked to explain the reason, he told me he has been asked to charge that way. 2. Royal Stag(Half Litre) bottle has a print of 198/- INR Inclusive of all taxes and he charged me 200/- INR. On asking for explanation, he again did not have a clear answer. When asked for a bill, he refused to do so. When asked for his shop license number, he refused to do so. This is an issue that i have faced in multiple wine shops in Neredement area of Secunderabad.
This is in interest of Public where retailer is charing above MRP(Inclusive of all taxes)
I want this to be corrected for all. PIL (Public Interest Litigation)
