Dear Sir,





I have come across instances where in the products are sold
above the MRP indicated in the package.



One such place is Railway Station, Bus stand, cinema theaters,
shopping malls where in the customers are forced to buy the products even
though the price is above MRP.



Also some utility items like are sold at different prices at different times :



(For eg : mini Pepsi cost MRP rate is 11 RS and the same mini pepsi cost 16 Rs
in Bus

station, cinema theaters, shopping malls. The retailer selling higher than MRP.



Even in cinema ticket theater, management selling different
rate’s which is not printed in the ticket.)



I observed this in all over India. All things are sold to
customer more than10%-20% of MRP. If we asked any thing against them, saying
that they have to pay to some people for putting up the shops there. And even
after telling them that in any case they could not

sell the items more than the MRP they even refuses to sell the item and speaks
very rudely. They are not even afraid of complaint
to Police says.



I would like to know from you whether this act is legal or not.
Please take any action regarding this and this problem is occurring over all India
for all
the things. (MRP RATES)
