Please complain the same to Department of Legal Metrology thru letter which they
take it seriously.
Infact my family member is a Inspector of Legal Metrology in Bangalore. We do
this all the time when some one charges higher than the MRP so he would face
huge penalty. I have seen this happens with Milk also where they take fifty
paise extra. for which I have made complaint thru web site
and they take immediate action. Best is complain thru WEBsite which directly
gets into the hands of Dept Controller who would direct respective area
inspector to take action.
