Hi, I went to a restaurant in Chennai for dinner where I ordered for 2 Thumps Up -200 ml bottle. The MRP cost of bottle is Rs.8 but I was charged Rs.12 for each bottle. I asked at the counter for reason for over charging against which the accountant said we charge the same to everyone.Then they started making excuse that it is for chilling the bottle. I said that they can't charge 1.5 times MRP for which they said it is restaurant tax. I again complained that the cost should be as surcharge in bill and they can't add surcharge to each item for which they had no answer.On asking for manager they said he is out for shopping (a silly excuse).I have taken the bill so that I can prove that how shopkeeper is fooling the customer. I am ready to go to any extent to book this restaurant owner. Please let me know the process for same.
