I had this terrible incident wherein my stuff has been robbed and replaced by some other cheap product by a courier company, Shree Mahavir Courier Service (Bhandup) whose so called head office is in Dadar (Shree Mahavir Courier Pvt. Ltd).

The address of this company is C-126 basement, Station road plaza, Station Road, Bhandup (W), Mumbai.

The phone number is 02225667473, the proprietor of this FRAUD courier service is Mr. Laljibhai Tukadiya.

I had sent my courier to Fashion and You (Gurgoan) through them on the 10/03/2012. It had a Lafuma Men Wrist Watch (Black) with product code 8966_004.

The watch was for 2000 Rs but when I received it had some faults. After a long fight with F&Y I was asked to return the product to them through courier.

These people at Shree Mahavir Courier Service tore, opened my courier package and stole my watch worth 2000 Rs and replaced it with a to cheap spectacle frames.

The product got returned on 26/03/2011 saying that the address was incorrect and when I inquired about my missing items the proprietor told me that the box did not contain any watch.

He asked me if I had any proof that I had sent the watch and if I had a bill to support it.
Every courier company mentions the contents of the package in the bill that they give but in my case it was not written. I’m sure the product never went to Gurgoan and I think they have done this many time i.e. robbing the customers goods.

Please do not have any sort of business with these people because I’m sure they’ll rob your stuff. ROBBERS.

I have also read that as per Section 8 of the Carriers Act 1895 every carrier is liable to the owner for loss or damage caused to any property delivered to such carrier, and when the said loss or damage had arisen from a criminal act of the carrier, or any of his servants of agents.

Kindly help me if you know anything about the same.
