Dear Sir/madam,
I would like to share my problems which I am facing with respect to postal services in my area. The only post office near our Institute campus is GGP branch post office (PIN Code is 751010). Earlier the postman used to deliver the letters, parcels or magazines to our Central office from where our peon used to distribute to the recipients all over the campus, but due to non availability of the peon, no other person distributes the letters. When we complained to the postman regarding this, he pointed that the office is not recieving them. When I told him to deliver the letters himself directly, he refused to do so citing difficulty in finding the person or the department for which the letter is addressed. I would like to know regarding the jurisdiction of a postman service with regard to an Institute. Is it that his service is limited to only delivering to the institute and not directly to the address as the postman claims? Kindly help me out regarding this as to where I stand, so that I will take further steps in the right direction.
