Dear Sir,

Yes, you can take legal action against the Deptt. but for that first of all send a written complaint to the Post master of your area post office (from where you have sent the speed post) and Copy to Chief Post Master General (CPMG) of your state.

hallo sir, i applied for passport 2 months back and passport has dispatched 3days back through speedpost, but postman not willing to handover to my family members. post man is telling that if i din't receive passport in next three days, he will return the passport back to passport office. please clarify the rules and regulation for passport delivery

Dear Sir,

I've applied for my wife's passport 4 months ago. Now passport is dispatched to the candidate's native(base-Mudigere, Chikmagalur) location. But due to medical treatment(pregnancy) she's in Bangalore and as per doctor's instruction she's not able to travel. We've already given authorization letter and doctor's medical certificate to relatives to collect the passport. But postmaster is refusing to handover the passport. If this is returned to passport office it's very difficult to collect the same. Is there any speed post rules as such...Kindly suggest what to do in this regard....Thanks in Advance.
