Dear Sir,
I have taken a personal loan from Citi Financial Consumer Finance Ltd., in the year 2007. At the time of loan agreement I had submitted my original Salary cum Service certificate mentioning six years of service issued by my employer for proof. The financial institution stated that the document would be in the custody of the institution and would be returned back after the loan is cleared.

I was working as a workman (Section Incharge) with M/s Syscom Seatings Private Limited, Bangalore-560027 since may 1998. In april 2009 i was illegally terminated from service without any prior notice. After my termination no compensation was paid by the employer for my eleven years of service. Although with repeated requests for my compensation, the employer evaded to settle the same. With no option left I have to approach the court of law for my compensation dues.

I have filed a suit in the court of law for my eleven years service dues which is on trail. Now the original certificate is in pocession with the financial institution and on repeated requests they are not in the positon to return the same although the final EMI due was paid in May 2012. Now the same certificate has to be produced in the court of law for my compensation trail.

Since october 2009 i have sent repeated request, mails and letters stating my situation to the financial institution to surrender my Original salary cum service certificate or a certified copy of the same but the Institution is evading to do so stating illegal reasons. So now with no option left i will have to file a consumer suit against the financial institution for recovery of my certificate which is an importnat document to be produced in the court of law.

Kindly help me out from this situation and may guide suitable remedy in the interest of justice.
