I ajay gupta, haveing PL from HDFC bank, A/c No : 11605971. (Issue date : 26/06/2007 & amount :127710 at a time of disbursal) My balance as per actual is 57540, due to some mis-communication i was depositied my installment by cash, but now i find they ask for extra charges also from me like Cheque bouncing as well overdue charges. From last 1.5 years i had not deposited any installments due to extra charges.

Now i just want to konw at minimum which % i will settel given PL and is their any option of installment any more.

Sub: Getting mentally harassed by bank executive

This is to inform you that I had applied for personal loan of 70000 on saturday 4th of feb 2012. The person Named Sumithra (09900322921) from personal loan dept has been calling me from mid of Jan for loan application. And finally I asked her for confirmation whether am I eligible to apply for loan or not. She took all my personal details, my salary slips, and my 3 blank cheques and all other supporting documents which are fully valid. And she gave a confirmation that my loan will be approved for sure with full confidence. And she also mentioned that her reporting manager has confirmed about my application and within 3 days my loan will be approved.


But after 3 days that is on today when I called and asked her to give my reference number, she directly told me that my form is rejected, and the reason when I asked her, she told credit dept did not approve it.


Now I want to know how come credit dept disapproved my application without providing my reference number for tracking. And i have cleared all my pending dues before applying for loan. There was only one pending EMI to bajaj finance which i have already cleared and have submitted the clearance statement and receipt with the loan application. This is highly frustrating and unexpected. When a person like me who works in IBM India like company where every 2nd person is Hdfc bank's customer. The bank promises me from its online Loan calculator that I am eligible for 1.8 lakhs loan minimum, where I have only applied for 70000rs which is not even its half of it. And the people are making blunder of customers in the name of approving it in 3 days.


Please do something about it. Cause this kind of service is highly unexpected from HDFC bank. I am giving my form number and details below. Kindly check and reply.


If I am not getting any valid reply, I don't have any other option to lodge a complain under forgery for taking all personal n confidential data about me and making blunder to customer in consumer forum. Plus I will never ask any new joinee at my office to open salary account at Hdfc bank. Please take this up seriously.

I M a hdfc bank customer from feb 2005. I cant tell you the level of frustration I am going thru ...I get frequent calls from hdfc for personal loan ,credit cards etc...
on 28jan 2012 1.30 pm I received a call from +91 8951075834 for personal loan...I replied in a firm voice that I dont need any kinda loan and not to call any more...I was replied from the person with all the possible foul language ...which is used by cheap goons and he disconnected the call..I kept tried calling to see what was his problem... I received call from the same person again after 10 mins ,asking y I didnt want loan and using lot of foul lang and rubbish...threatening me ,saying he want me to come n meet him personally to settle scores!!!

1. Y doesnt hdfc do any background check before hiring tele callers...
2. Y was my personal data being compromised!!

hdfc bank claiming that they are unable to trace the number is laughable...

I have recorded voice of the person whom I spoke to and the threat.....

I want hdfc to pay me compensation for leaking my personal info..

I AM PAYING A HEAVY PRICE FOR BEING ASSOCIATED WITH THE BANK WHICH HIRES GOONS FOR MARKETING PERSONAL LOAN!!!
I CANT IMAGINE THAT I WAS THREATENED FOR HAVING REJECTED PERSONAL LOAN!!
