Preclosure of my personal loan Hi Sir,
I would like to preclose my HDFC personal loan (Loan A/c Number : 19174797) to avail Home Loan from HDFC. I have taken loan from HDFC bank in July 23rd 2011. Till now I have paid 5 EMIs (starting from Sep 2011 to Jan 2012). Since I am planning to get Home Loan from HDFC, can i get exemption in rules(i.e., Have to pay 12 EMIs).
This is very important to me since I will miss good deal to get a Flat, if I am unable to preclose my personal loan.
Please help me to proceed further.

Dear Sir,
I have took a personal loan from Citibank in January 2006 in A/c No. LHIC543247142 and foreclosed the same on 21.02.2008 and paid full amount alongwith fore-closer charges but Citibank has updated Cibil that the loan was setteled. How to file a suit against Citibank on this irresponsible behavior. This i came to know when asked for a home loan. Please help and let me know if there is any law against such irresponsibility.
