Dear Sir / Madam,

I've taken personal loan from HDFC BANK in the year 2007 & have been paying the EMI promptly for last 4 years. But due to unavoidable financial issues & medical emergency at my family, I was not able to pay the EMI for last 2 months.

I've informed the bank loan department very well in advance about my situation (In person & by E-mail) but there was no help offered. I have also provided my current contact details to the bank regarding this loan account.

The collection agents mentioned below have been calling all my friends informing that I'm defaulter with the bank. Also they have called my sister & forcing her that she is my wife & not to lie as my sister. Another collection agent has visited my house today & troubled my parents who are no where related to this loan account. Inspite of my mother being ill & bed rest, the agents were talking bad words.

When I request Mr.Sivakumar to give me some time, he just forces me to pay the EMI if not he will create a scene infront of my house. He also mentioned that he will tent in my house with other members until I pay the EMI. When I request him to listen my problem, he mentioned that during the month end he cannot do it now. There was no courtesy or customer care from any of the collection agents from the bank.

This has spoiled my reputation with my friends, family & office colleagues. The bank is torturing my parents & me inspite of begging all possible options from the bank, I've been receiving only tortures from the bank.

I request the Ombudsman banking to look into this issue & help me where ever possible. If the torture continues from bank, the only option left to me commit suicide rather than facing all the trouble.
