Harrasment by loan recovery company. This is regarding a personal loan taken from ICICI Bank. Last year, there was a settlement on the balance amount. The bank has provided me with a Full and Final Settlement letter. Based on this letter, the balance amount was to be collected in 2 installaments. 1st installment was collected after which there has been no interactions. I had contacted the bank on numerous occasions to send their executive to collect the balance amount, but there was no responce from the bank.
I am ready to pay the balance amount and close the case as mentioned in the Full and Final Settlement letter. Past few days, 3rd party legal team has been harrasing me with abusive words to make some very high amount of payment or else appear in court and pay higher amount.
Please suggest. More information can be provided on request.

I had a personal loan with ABSA bank in 2000 for and amount of R9000.00 and the loan was paid off via garnishee against my salary in 2007 and the amount that was paid amount to R21900.00 and in November 2011 the loan collection company (Sonveld Investment Lizell Tel: 0118118054) started deducting from my salary a garnishee for the same loan with the same document from court of 2003 for the loan, on my investigation they said it is for legal fees and they refuse to send me all the relevent documentation for this deduction. Please help me to stop this and get the money that was taken from me in a non legal manner back.

Loan to friend. Hi,
I have given Rs.5,00,000/-(Five Lacs) to my friend as he was launching residential colony. I had done all payments through cheques. He had promised to refund Rs.5+5 Lacs with 100% profit. Now after 2 years he is delaying to refund 10 lacs. He is not denying refunding but delaying. He had given me cheques of Rs.5 lacs (without mentioning date or you can say PDC) when I given him amount.
Now what should I do? Should I deposit cheques of Rs.5 Lacs in bank? If I recover 5 Lacs, how can I recover 5 lacs of profit? And if bounced, should go for legal action? In that case can I recover Rs.5 lacs of profit amount?
