I took a personal loan from HDFC bank IN 2009 FOR 1.5 LACS. unfortunately I lost my job. I can't pay my EMI. I am in a very difficult situation, I am a divorcee and I do not have any means of making payment. I have asked the bank to restructure my EMI but their recovery team is harrasing me on the phone or by coming to my house. They have disclosed that I have not paid my loan to all my friends(whom they harrased) and also to my room mate. They have threatened to get me arrested as they have good ties to Police in my area!!!! They said that they have every information about me like where I work, who is my landlord and threaten to get me arrested by Nov 16.I'm a single female and am very scared.Please advise how to work on this situation.
