had taken a personal loan of Rs. 28700/- in the name of my wife mrs. Chaitali Das on 26.09.2011 from Muthoot Finance and kept gold ornaments as collateral security and total Gross Wt. including stone and others was 35.80 gms and net wt they calculated was 20.500 gms.
Now today , on 25.10.2011, when we had been to the bank to give the interest for lasy month, they told me that, there was a robbery in that bank and among the other ornaments, they robbed our ornaments also. Now if we are interested , they can settle our account by cash and they will calculate the amount on 20.500 gms with the current rate of gold and deducting the principle amount, the balance amount they will pay.
When asked why they have not informed us by phone regarding the incidence , they told due to police enquiry and shocking environment, they thought it is better to inform the customer when they will come to Bank.
While asked, we had given gold and you should return us the finished gold ornaments,as making charges and other charges are also high.
They answered that, it is the order they had received from the Banks higher authority.

We do not know what to do now and should we do FIR or any other way out.
