My name is Gyan Chand.
I took a personal loan 4 years back for 1 lakh and since today morning, I have been receiving calls from a particular number 011 4676 8900. I had recd 39 calls from this number on my mobile and 22 calls at my home number. They are calling me continuously and using abuse language to me and my family.
The case was that 4 years back I took a loan of Rs. 1 lakh from HDFC bank. I gave all my documents, like ID proof, address proof, income proof, and signed cheques for ECS etc. The verification was also done.
In the first month there was no debit from my account, and then I thought that the debit may start from the next month. But before the due date, bank employees started calling me saying that they had misplaced my documents somewhere and asking for another set of documents.
All the times they were telling me different stories, for example, once they said that the docs are misplaced in courier, sometimes they were saying that they are misplaced in godown that is in Rajouri Garden, once they said that the person carrying my docs had met with an accident and docs are misplaced by him.
I asked them to lounge an FIR because I gave you photocopies of my documents duly signed by me and also the cheques. But they were not ready for this. My mind was not allowing me to give another set of docs.
The chapter was closed in 6 months, but now I had started receiving call from above said number for the recovery. But today I am not in a position to pay this amount and therefore can’t pay the amount in full. I can only pay approx. Rs. 35 to 40000.
But I also want from bank to clear my negative credit ranking because THERE IS NO MISTAKE FROM MY SIDE.
I really want strict action to be taken against HDFC Bank which is taking the help of these cheap people to harrass their customers. And if the call continues from any of the numbers, I will definitely go to the police and lounge an FIR.
