I have taken 4 lac loan to rbs bank and pay 1.5 lac ,their after i lose my job and i started share trading and suffer 10 lac rupee (doucments available) and i was position to stay in road ,but some of relatives help me to survive.

now with the help of relatives i survive my self and to pay bank dues ,we write to bank ,because they force 100 times threating call ,and because of threating call we change our rented house, now bank want to settle but they change there wording daily basis .
now they send a letter and settle the same , please suggest what i would do ,because they did not send me letter by mail and they write settlement letter credit card instead of easy cash loan and they mark 4 extra zero in my account ,please suggest

they demand for d/d first i send him scan copy of cheque

i was credit card holder of hdfc bank....7282 ,in sep -09 a cheque of rs 5000 dishounre because of my saving account in icici bank ,by my bank mistake
after some time in oct ,09 bank change my credit card no without any information ,after some time a recovery agent of hdfc bank ,cms name beraj yadav , i have also received his mail ,he threaten about due , i told him due to above mentioned reason , i am not paid your dues ,pls send me confirmation that it is my new nos. Against old credit card but their is no information sended by hdfc now in 9 months they just double my amount 25000 principal now they sending last statment of 56000 and ,after lot of mails from oct -09 to till 9more that 20 mail) ,they are not even able to mail my new creadit card no they send me whatever statment that shows only last 4 nos......... 0796, nothing else and in hdfc bank nobody help me and my last credit card amount shows zero balance ,

i am request you pls settle my account or advice me how can i settle

also i send lot of mail to his nodal office but their response is also not satisfactory

I am also in same situation like yours and have not able to pay personal EMI's since last one years. Please note below points

1) Bank can only file civil suit against you and not criminal case as per supreme court judgement.
2) Police has not role play in this except issuing you a summons from court.
3) Court also gives you some time, may ask how much you can pay per month.
4) Since court procedure is costly for banks they wont go for this and will try to settle ammicably.
5) If your condition is worst and do not have anything and want to face court judgement which takes around 8-10 years, with 2 yrs imprisonment.

I have a personal loan from HDFC bank. I lost my earlier job of which the bank had ECS. Then i got a job outstation. And I am paying the bank regularly through their collection Agent and I have the reciepts also. But bank has filed a case against me. They send thier executive to native place as only my mother lives there and she gets panicked due to this. What should I do???

I took a personal loan in 2008 Feb from ICICI bank. By that time i was working in a company and I paid around 70% already. Now I stop working, and continue to study in abroad. I would really like to pay all the remaining amount when i have my job back. Just a few days ago I got a call from ICICI agent and told me they will take legal action if i did not pay soon. I told him that I have no income and i will pay after coming back to India or as soon as I have a job. Can someone guide me what what to do? I am not running away, i am open to talk with them and I will pay back when i have my job. But at this point of time i am not in a position to pay back. What should I do? And what action will they take? Will they come and find me in abroad? will they threaten my family in India? I am a student here and i am so disturb with this legal action! please help..
