Im MANAV SHAH from chennai. I took a personal loan from KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK on JAN 2008 for 344598/-. Im supposed to pay an EMI of 14450/- for 36 months, 14th of each month is EMI's date. In 2008 i incurred some losses in my busienss and had to close it down. Till APRIL 2009 i had paid all the EMI's, last month (29th April) when i went to the bamk for paying my April month EMI, I said my problems to their representative and he advised me to go for a LOAN RESHEDULEMENT, upon his advise i gave a letter for applying for that. theysaid the process will take 7-10 working days. Later on 12 of MAy, i got a call from bank saying that my LOAN RESHEDULEMENT done and here after (incuding for MAY month) i have to pay as follows:

1; Rs. 5000/- * 11 months. May 2009 to March 2010.
2; Rs. 9000/- * 11 months. April 2010 to Feb 2011.
3; Rs. 17500/- * 11 months. March 2011 to Jan 2012.

Later same month on 24 may, i got a call form bank saying that my reshedulement is REJECTED and i have to pay the old EMI amount only. After trying to arrange the money for the EMI for 2 days, i was shattered because i was not able to arrange it. ON 27 went to the bank for requesting again for the RESHEDULEMENT, but on that day the bank person said that he will let me know tomarrow. I waited for his call, which he didnt do. On 29th i went to the bank again as 30th was their closing date for collecting payments. When i approched the representative he (MR. RAJESH) spoke rubbish in such a cheap language, tellig me i am a thief. Next wat he did is jus UNBELEVEABLE, he said me " YOU CANNOT MOVE OUT OF THIS OFFICE UNTIL U PAY THE EMI AMOUNT THEN N THEIR" He made me sit in his office for 1 hour, later when i requested him, he said he will send his persons to my home tonight at 10.00PM TO COLLECT THE MONEY. If i dont pay the next day will be very bad for me. Since i didnt had any money i was very afraid. The same day i mailed to their CUSTOMER GREVEIANCE CELL and many other MAIL ID's ON THIR WEBSITE, including THE NODAL OFFICER. Beacuse of him i went to my home only at 10.30 pm. Next day (i.e) saturday he sent his collection perosn (MR. THYAGU) to my home. He came in the morning 9.30am n was there till 7.00 pm. Even this fellow used cheap language with my MOM & WIFE. He called me at 8.30pm on saturday 30-05-2009, tellig me that if i didnt arrange the money in 1 hour he wil come to my home and take me to police station. i was shivering on that day after hearing such things form him.

Till now i have got only one reply from the greveiance cell stating that "THEY WILL GET I TOUCH WITH ME SOON, AND MY QUERY ID # 1-126237789"

Im really afraid, please help me out.Its not like i dont want to pay the loan i took, its only abt the RESHEDULEMENT which they 1st accepted n rejected later i come from a very middle class family, my salary is 8000/- PM, im married and have a daughter. I have to takecare of my family too. So please help me out of this KOTAK HELL.
