Sir, Iam a business man and iam 63 years old, last year I have taken a Personal loan from citifinancial for 3.5 laks. I have paid 10 months without fail, but unfortunately for the past 2 months iam facing financial problems because of lose in my business.

I never faced this much problem in my 45 years of business experience and till now not even a cheque bounce happened in my life. Last month 5th September 2010 my 11th emi of Citibank loan cheque bounced (which was the 1st bounce experience in my life) and I have requested them to give me 20 days time to pay the amount but they gave me only 5 days time which was not sufficient time to me.

After 5 days they started calling daily to my office landlines and residence landline. I begged them that I will definitely pay the amount on 27th. But they continuously called me which made me mentally disturbed. On 27th of September i paid the amount. Again this month on 5th October the 12th emi cheque bounced as i could not arrange the funds and again started the same mental disturbance.

I told them that this month too i will pay on 27th but they refused it and came to my office and started asking for the amount before my staff. Frankly speaking i felt to die instead of getting insulted before my staff. Sir is there any option to get me some time like 3 to 4 months, so that i can backup my financial position. Sir i know that it is my responsible to pay the loan every month but unfortunately iam facing this problem. Please help me sir.
