I am not being cooperated in foreclosing LPCAL00008480998

I am unable to understand as to why my request for closing Loan Account LPCAL00008480998 is not being entertained. There have also been no replies to repeated mailers.



In the past there has been a lot of inconvenience due to the careless attitude of your bank officials. This has raised serious concerns on how your bank conducts its business.

The trust levels that you people inculcate within customers are at an all time low. We as customers neither have any faith nor any confidence on your process and people. On the contrary we are now afraid to conduct business with you people. Even being a customer since February 2004 (Over this time, I conducted business through savings a/c in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, availed a number of personal loans / credit cards from time to time and repaid / closed them as an when required) I would say that because of this careless attitude of ICICI bank’s officials, I am not looking forward in having a long term business relationship with ICICI.



It is due to your reluctance to act or even reply that I am posting this matter in a popular customer grievances website of India.

I have pulled some information from an earlier attempt to close this loan account where in one Miss Shweta said that INR 15, 351.00 was required to close this loan on December 2009. When this payment was made I was intimated on January 2010 that I was required to pay INR 33,660.37. Now when I am requesting to close this loan account, they are reluctant to act or even communicate. I am wondering how Non Resident Indians should do business with ICICI Bank.





I would be really very grateful if you can forward this mail to Mrs. Chanda Coacher. for her reference.

Can you please explain how come in the earlier mail of settlement (dated 15 December 2009 19:19) the foreclosure amount was Rs 15,351.00 and how within a period of one month this has become Rs 35,939.68/-. I would like to have detailed breakdown of the installments paid against this loan account (as of date), I doubt discrepancy. I am refering this matter to a competent and authorized Financial institution in New Delhi for further investigation.
