    Post False Commitment from HDFC

    Dear Sir,

Me Manjunath HR, Applied for a peronal loan in HDFC Bank on 02/04/2009.
Bank officials promised me saying my loan amount will get credited to my account within 2 working days.

They asked me take a Bajaj Allianz insurance along with loan but I sadi "No" to this. Later they agreed saying they will take waiver for this insurance and process my request.

On 03/04/2009, I recieved two seperate SMS quoting as below:
    1. "Your Complete document requesting a Personal Loan is received and same will be processed"
2."Your loan request has been approved"

Now today (06/04/2009) I got call from bank saying they are not able to process my request as I have not taken Bajaj Allianz insurance!!!.

This is false commitment from them and now I'm facing financial crunch because of their false commitment. :-(

I think they are simply forcing me to take unwanted insurance policy as they know I need money urgently. They are taking advantage of my financial crunch.

Now How Can I proceed further? Please help.

    Thanks in advance.

    regards,
    Manjunath HR

    Dear Sir,

I have the SMS sent by Bank. and I also know the Reference number of my request thru which details can be tracked in bank records.

    Is that enough?

    Regards,
    Manjunath HR
