    Post Threatening of HDFC bank.

    Dear Sir,

    i took a personnel loan from HDFC bank,a year ago 300000/-.and payed all the EMI 's on date, but i lost my job and my father and wife hospitalized so i was not able to pay last month EMI.Some persons from HDFC collection department threatening me through phone,that they will kidnap me and do anything for the collection.

    i don't have any intension to cheat bank,i will settle the amount in 3 months.

    what i do to stop these mental harassment through my mobile and from my land phone.

    You can file a police complaint against any recovery agency and recovery agent at your nearest police station.

    I am specialist in settlement , have resolved more than 1572 cases .Credit card debth will be taken care and highest waiver possible .
    Any personal loan issues also do not hesitate to contact me.

    You should know your right ,Collection Agents are not supposed to Harass or annoy the defaulters however chronic the default be.

    I am trying to help my citizens to fall in trap and thankyou to Consumer Court team for giving me this platform .

    Default threating calls from hdfc collection department.

    dear sir,

    i am using the Hdfca Bank Credit Card for more then 5 years.till January 2010 my credit card was in credit limit .after that some fincial crisis came and my total limit was in debited.but till yet i have paid a sum of Rs.15000/- and i am ready to go in a settlement. but the Hdfc collection deaprtment has send many executives who has threaten to kill me and also came to my home at 11.30 pm at nite and also told me if i didnt make the payment by the end of this month they will kill me.

    i have talk many executives in collection department but all are telling me sumething different. i am paying the minimum amount due but still they told me that no settlement offer is there.

    yesterday they came to my office and try to bang my office gate.

    kindly tell me how to stop all this.

    Default HDFC personal loan

    Dear sir,
    I have taken a personal loan from HDFC bank in 2007 for 1,00,000/-. i paid EMIs for 3 years. i am unable to continue it now due to personal financial problems. HDFC bank's collection agency is thretning me now and harrasing me by calling me 25 times a day. they are calling my office, neighbours and relatives and discussing my debt with them. i wrote them a letter to ask for possible settelment as i am about to receive my PF from my previous company but they ignored my request and continue with harrasing calls. I am willing to settle for 50% in 4 parts and i requested them not to call my office any more but they just don't listen.

    Please help.

    Hi

    I was unemployed for 3 months and I sent a written letter and several emails to HDFC bank stating of my unemployment, however some manager from the personal dept called me and told me that they will look into some kind of a work out. However another manager from the HDFC collection dept called and said that they will do a work out in regards to my car loan which they did, and when I asked about my personal loan I was told not to worry once I get back to work there will be a workout done as well.
    Once I got back to work I advised the bank that I'm back to work and to help me in my loan paymts that are due. Suddenly one day the bank sends me a letter stating that they are going to file a case against me for non-paymt, now I feel like I have been struck by lightning can someone please tell me what I can do in this case.

    Default Harrassment by recover agent

    i took a personal loan from HDFC in 2008 but i was not able to pay regular payments after may 2009.

    Now a guy is regularly calling me & my family members and harrasing them verbally with all the indian obscene gaalis

    He is calling me regularly , abusing me & threatening me that he will call all my relatives & will tell them

    I alraedy informed him that i am in touch with customer service dept of HDFC but still he goes on calling me

    i have also informed HDFC that i will restart the payment soon but they are taking no action against this guy

    please suggest what to do as he can easily defame me and my family members & do he have have the right to call all my family members & relatives????
